📄 How to Check & Download Your Employment Visa

Welcome to the official guide for verifying and downloading your Employment Visa for the State of Kuwait. Whether you’re using the eVisa portal or the Kuwait Visa mobile app, follow the steps below to ensure your visa is accurate and valid.

To download or print your Employment Visa, click on the Kuwait Police logo at the bottom of this page, where it says Download or print the Employment Visa. This action will open a page displaying logos for both Manual Visa and eVisa (Electronic Visa).

✅ Step-by-Step: Download Your eVisa (Electronic Visa)

  1. Scroll to the Bottom of the Page
    Click on the Kuwait Police logo where it says: “Download or Print the Employment Visa.”
  2. Choose Visa Type
    On the next screen, click on the option labeled:
    🟢 eVisa (Electronic Visa)
    (Note: Manual Visa option is also available)
  3. Enter Visa Holder Details
    You’ll be redirected to the Electronic Visa Inquiry page. Fill in all required information:
    • Visa Number
    • MOI Reference
    • Passport Number
    • Captcha Code
  4. Submit and Download
    Click on “Submit and Find.” Your eVisa will be automatically downloaded as a PDF. ✅ This document includes all employment visa details.

Using the Kuwait Visa App (KV App)

If you've downloaded the Kuwait Visa app:

  1. Open the App
    Launch the app on your mobile device.
  2. Click “eVisa Inquiry & Verification”
    Tap the KV logo button at the bottom-right corner.
  3. Check Visa Details
    Go to “Inquiry – Visa Inquiries.”Enter:
    • Visa Number
    • MOI Reference (written as “Reference” on the visa)
    • Passport Number
      Click on the blue “Inquiry” button.
    💡 Result: You will see "Approved" in GREEN with your visa details.
  4. Verify via QR Code
    Tap “Verify – Visa Verification.” Use your camera to scan the BLUE QR code under your passport details on the visa.

    ✅ If valid, the screen will display:

    “Valid Document” in GREEN with a visa summary.
  5. Use Additional QR Scanner Options
    The app has two QR code icons for scanning:
    • Visa holder data
    • Visa authority details

After scanning, click “Download” to get the full Employment Visa page.

📋 Manual Employment Visa Verification

If you’re using the manual visa system:

  1. Visit:

  2. Enter Required Info:
    • Application Number
    • Unified Number
    • Visa Number
    • Entry Number
    • Position Number
    • Captcha Code
  3. Submit to View Status
    Click “Submit” - if your visa is valid, you will see:
    ✅ “Approved” at the top of the screen.

📥 How to Update & Re-Download an Employment Visa

To update visa applications or re-download an issued visa:

  1. Click “Present Visa Status”
    • Enter all required fields accurately.
    • Type the Captcha code.
    • Click Submit to view visa application details.
  2. Click “Download or Print Employment Visa”
    • Choose Manual Visa or eVisa.
    • Enter the information again.
    • Captcha → Submit
    • The issued visa will display and/or download automatically.

✅ Final Confirmation

If the KV app or online portal shows your visa status as:

  1. ✅ “Approved”
  2. ✅ “Valid Document”
  3. 📥 You’re able to download the Employment Visa

then your visa is genuine, approved, and ready to use.
